Meet Saga

Saga Conroy lives in Mission Viejo with her husband and two children. She is an active community leader with strong, conservative values seeking to proudly represent Orange County Republicans on the OCGOP’s Central Committee, District 71. Saga currently serves on the Central Committee as an Alternate for Republican Congressional candidate Scott Baugh.

Saga experienced life under communist rule from a young age. As an immigrant to the United States, she is passionate about securing America’s fundamental values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Saga is a proud Republican with years of proven leadership and effective community service in Orange County. She has led numerous competitive congressional, statewide, and local campaigns, along with legislative advocacy operations to advance conservative policies.

Saga is currently the Community Outreach Director for Orange County Supervisor Don Wagner and serves on Mission Viejo’s Community Services Commission. Both roles allow her to interact directly with constituents and hear their needs.

The Orange County portion of the 71st Assembly District represents Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Ladera Ranch, Rancho Mission Viejo, Coto De Caza, and other unincorporated areas.

A Proven Leader for Orange County Republicans

Since 2018, Saga has volunteered her time and energy to help Republicans in Orange County maintain and grow their influence. As a member of the Central Committee, she would help ensure the OCGOP supports strong, electable conservatives.

Among Saga’s top priorities are securing America’s border, defending our constitutional rights, strengthening parental rights and protecting children’s innocence, shoring up all defenses against the ideological and military threats of the Chinese Communist Party, and preserving Proposition 209 (which prohibits state institutions from discriminating on the basis of race).

Saga has worked for and supported dozens of campaigns, initiatives, and groups throughout Orange County and California, including:

Deputy for Scott Baugh for Congress (CA-47), one of the most targeted House races in the country.

Ran Mari Barke’s successful 2022 re-election campaign for OC Board of Education.

California Republican Party Delegate since 2020.

National Delegate in 2024, and National Alternate Delegate in 2020.

Key role in the landslide victory of “No on Proposition 16” campaign in 2020, upholding Proposition 209’s ban on racial discrimination.

Co-founder and Secretary of Californians For Equal Rights Foundation, a nonprofit group leading the fight against Critical Race Theory (CRT) and racial preferences.

Chair of the Asian American Pacific Islander Republican Alliance (OC Chapter).
